    no, I’m talkin’ about the inline six that equipped the “770″ series and all the other series of the old days, I speak from experience with 1955- late 1960′s Rambler sixes. horribly weak, almost adequate, might as well have been made by a ruddy plumber on his off-day. your’e into modified, virtually re-engineered Ramblers , I’m? into real Ramblers, when the conversation happens to turn to Ramblers.

    @elmerhdga
    The in-line six you are maligning went on to power Jeeps through 2006. Pretty long lived for a “crappy? engine,” don’t you think?

  6. elmerhdga says:

    Ramblers NEVER EVER had Any “V” -6′s ! A bunch of just-AWFUL? straight (in-line”) sixes, and, man were they crappy!

  7. killerbug881 says:

    I had one before ,it was V-6 Engine , It was very smooth , very good mileage? , very roomy . Never broke down on the road.
