I bought a 2012 turbo premium III version of the regal after ditching my 2007 es350 and I love this car. If you do not? own one I suggest you STFU.

and americas let me say something that most drivers in world know but seems to me you live in bubble. GM cars a cheaper because they have lower standards in car manufacturing. that why lexus is so expensive, or merc, bmw, audi. @maximuswinnie9 It be nice if they just found a way to add the options of all drive trains. Wouldnt it be nice to say? I want it in Rear Wheel, or front wheel, or All wheel or the option of 4 wheel drive? Im still waiting for the day that it becomes a reality, when you can custom order wht wheels get the power. Although being in the winters myself Of course the only things you can drive is front wheel or all wheel or 4 wheel lol….which I prefer over rea wheel anways.
Buicks were all about Speed, then all about luxury for the old folks, what you are seeing now is Buick backing out of the older folks market,? but clinging on to the luxury. People can hate on Buick all they want, But like Pontiac, they didnt have to be saved, so i would stop the pointless hating, and move on!

I’m glad it’s front wheel drive. Coming from a snowy climate, it’s nice to have a nice sporty sedan that can be driven in the winter, without having to worry about the handling issues of rear wheel drive, or having to pay the extra money for all wheel drive.?

@xjado321 Luxury cars in general are not reliable due to the many added features. ( more on a car more to go wrong with it) But as far as lexus goes i have seen people drive out of the dealership brand new Lexus GX and come back and have 5 dash lights on all related to electrics. I will admit Lexus is better than say… Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Land? Rover AS FAR AS REPAIR COSTS GO. Because most of the parts are toyota parts. but beacuse more is put on the car the parts arent as reliable.
@CapitanBluebeard you just said lexus is not reliable? You sir have no clue. I had a 1997? lexus gs 400 for 13 years with around 250k miles and it still drove perfect and i sold it. Lexus sells some of the most reliable products.
@Marine475 I wouldn’t buy a Regal because there are better cars? for the price. But you’re not going to find a new BMW for under 30,000.

@DASVWPOS. A v6 engine is by far the stupidest option to? even consider. The car is very light and more than perfect for a 4 turbo. Stop thinking inside the box and get out of it. Its about damn time gm did. At a time when gas is constantly going up a turbo is the best ooption.
I always thought The regal was a re-badged Malibu. But this actually way better, even thought it have the same problems as always. One its as small as the Malibu, and its a product of GM. GM hasn’t made any good cars since the 70′s. They’ve made so much crap they started to bringing their foreign? badged cars over to the USA to make a profit. First the re-badged Holden/Pontiac G8/soon Chevy Caprice, now the Opel/Buick Regal
@CapitanBluebeard good point,I own a? 2007 4 door wrangler,2005 chrysler 300C and a 2005 lexus SC430, bet you can guess the only one to break down not once but 4 times in 5 years.the other two haven’t broke down once yet touchwood.
@CapitanBluebeard “All do the same things” what are you talking about? Rebranding? Not everyone other firms use the same platform for different cars but at least most of the cars also look different like VW for instance the Audi A1 is based on the Polo but you wouldn’t see that? from the outside. Anyway that’s not my point. My point is that GM cars are pretty much crap, and the company wouldn’t exist anymore without (illegal) gouvernment help.
