They did indeed fuck Chrysler over but they weren’t that shitty of a company with daimler as everyone brought them out to be, they innovated all of our cars,? made the Chrysler 300 a blockbuster hit and redesigned many others.

  6. royalmailship says:

Mercedes-Benz invented the car and many inovations. Chrysler would only benefit the image of the brand Mercedes-Benz. Crysler-cars (american cars) are low quality, ugly (design) and have remained technically. All relevant innovations come from german manufacturers (Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW). German cars are the best cars, because we invented it. So, its not bad, that Chrysler goes down, its only a other non-german Carbrand. Deutsche Autos? sind und bleiben die besten!

@Bounzzful Without Mercedes CHRYSLER will be better, as you see now its better than the old Chrysler … Mercedes failed in these new Generations, having a problem in? ENGINE … they recalled alot of vehicles

  9. Spectre8282 says:

@Bounzzful Not so mon ami. It was a hostile takeover for Chryslers $15Billion. Germany was hiring Islamic immigrants and their quality went down. The death blow was from Wall Street.? They couldn’t let Electric vehicles out to the General Public.

  10. Bounzzful says:

@Spectre8282 Without Daimler, Chrysler? would be death. But Daimler wouldn’t be death without Chrysler.

  14. unknownunknowns says:

@Albee213 OK, maybe I should have refer to the past few years when comparing to the Japanese, specifically, Honda and Toyota, not ‘right now’.?

  15. Albee213 says:

@unknownunknowns Yeah, last time I checked Ford was one of the only automanufactures that were not losing money. One year ago? GM, Chrysler, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, SAAB, Land Rover and many other companies were struggling to sell cars. GM was only hurting becuase sales of SUV’s sank like a rock that thats what they made the most profits on. Ford didnt take any bailout money becuase they have not had the issues so many others have.

  16. unknownunknowns says:

@Albee213 If this is so, then Ford should be WAY ahead of the? Japanese, right now, not stuggling to keep itself afloat.

  17. Albee213 says:

Chrysler was hurt because they killed off one of their best selling cars, the Neon, repalced with the Caliber, personaly I hate that car but no one wants the Caliber and they keep selling the same car for too long. 10 years on the PT-Loser, 7 years on the 300c, 6 on the Charger, you want to keep? people buying and excited for your brand you need to change things up a lil more than once every 10 years! Wake up Chrysler! Oh and lighten up the Challenger (4100lbs), its a fat PIG!

  18. Albee213 says:

@unknownunknowns Maybe but the same can be said about Ford, I almost bought a Crown Vic and the speedo went to 999,999 and it was back to zero, it had been a Police car and then a Taxi for 900,000 thousand miles all origianl, sure it was a major piece and everything was worn out but it? still drove and had a lil kick to the V8.

  19. unknownunknowns says:

Sure, Chrysler had it badly with MB but I have the feeling, in a few years, it’s going? to wish it was under MB again and not Fiat (Fix It Again, Tony!, if that still applies).

  20. unknownunknowns says:

@Albee213 I can understand Landrover and Jaguar but MB and BMW? I’m not so sure since I see ‘too many’ 13 year old ones on the road (at least where I live) and my neighbor has 170K miles in his 2002 E320 (w210) with just routine maintenance. Don’t forget MBs are used as taxis with hundreds of thousands of miles in the world and not in the US. The ‘unreliability’ could just be things? that have nothing to do with ‘bringing you home’, such as heated seats, power rear sunshade, etc.

  21. Albee213 says:

@aranaepg Mercedes,? BMW, Landrover, Jaguar are the lowest in reliability! They may be nice cars but they spend the most time in the shop for repairs have the highest engine failures… The list goes on.

  22. jasonsheil says:

lol? you people arguing about cars. I watched this cause it was directed by the guy who did independence day and 10000BC

  23. OldtimerMercedesBenz says:

@avengful Well, when we at the AMG got information from Daimler AG that we might merge with Chrysler corporation in 1997, we were? happy… But after all physical and finantial inspections we found that Chrysler was deep in debts… You know, Cerberus&Co… Better not talking abot money injections, 7 billion dollars and Chrysler still could’t stand on it’s own… I know almost everything, I had to be on each conference, and for all that circus you can send regards to mr. Shrempp…

  24. OldtimerMercedesBenz says:

@avengful Haha kid, you have much to learn… BEFORE? you bullsh*t like you just did…
