@mattcopoan forget the cap you dont really need it for anything.it is just an extra stress on? your electrical system. 2 l7s ported on 3000 is more then enough RMS of course. i wouldnt go with pioneer speakers. alpine type x or focals if its in your budget

AUDIOCONTROL… is the best that ever happent to my? audio plus I got what they call a MATRIX from audiocontrol… my amp is all the way down (GAIN VOL. ) and it hit hell a hard but just on the EPIC160 (epicenter) & my MATRIX i got around $600 at least…

Too much bass does not cause distortion, incorrect gain settings and lack of power causes distortion. Epicenter reproduces clean low bass.
